Overview

Our refund policy extends for a period of 30 days from the date of purchase. If 30 days have passed since your purchase, we regret to inform you that we cannot offer you a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition as when you received it. It should also be in the original packaging.

Please note that the following items are non-returnable:

Gift cards

  • To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.
  • Partial Refunds

In certain situations, only partial refunds may be granted:

Refunds

  • Any item that is not in its original condition, is damaged, or has missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
  • Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery.

Once we receive and inspect your return, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment within a specific number of days.

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted:

  • Book with obvious signs of use
  • CD, DVD, VHS tape, software, video game, cassette tape, or vinyl record that has been opened.
  • Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
  • Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery

Late or Missing Refunds

If you haven’t received your refund yet, we recommend taking the following steps:

  • Check your bank account again
  • Contact your credit card company, as it may take some time for the refund to be officially posted.
  • Contact your bank, as there is often a processing time before a refund is reflected in your account.
  • If you have completed the above steps and still haven’t received your refund, please contact us at admin@bettermowerandheating.co.nz.

Sale Items

  • Only regular-priced items are eligible for a refund. Unfortunately, sale items cannot be refunded.

Exchanges

  • We only replace items that are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange a defective or damaged item for the same product, please send us an email at bmhc@xtra.co.nz and ship the item to: 303, Great South road, Takanni, 2112,  New Zealand.

Gifts

  • If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you will receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.
  • If the item was not marked as a gift at the time of purchase, or if the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will issue a refund to the gift giver, and they will be notified about your return.

Shipping

  • To return your product, please mail it to: 303 Great South Road, Takanini, Auckland 2112, New Zealand.
  • You will be responsible for paying the shipping costs for returning your item. Please note that shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
  • The time it takes for your exchanged product to reach you may vary depending on your location.
  • If you are shipping an item over $75, we recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
